September 28, Sunday, 5 PM You are invited to Northern Connecticut Vegetarian Society's potluck with World Known Vegan Chef Ken Bergeron as the featured demonstrator. Ken specializes in healthy vegan food. Ken will show us how to make vegan raw sushi and other vegan delights which are simple for us to make. Recently, Ken supervised the service of 6,000 vegan meals at the North American Vegetarian Summerfest . Bring a healthy vegan dish to share along with a note card listing your ingredients and your name. Healthy Vegan is defined as little junk ingredients (as sugar and processed flour) and no animal ingredients (zero dairy, eggs, Jello, and fish). Juice, fruit, and raw vegetable dishes are always appreciated. Also, please bring your place setting (plate, cup, and utensils). A donation of $10 per adult is requested.
