October 18, 2009

October 18, Sunday, 5 PM You are invited to a Northern Connecticut Vegetarian Potluck on October 18, Sunday, at 5 PM. Kristin Griffing from Raw Food Central will be the guest speaker. Kristin will give the latest facts on body care products including cosmetics, facials, body lotions, and sunscreens and safe home/car cleaners. For years, Kristin has been teaching about cleaning with natural cleaners that are toxin-free and do not present the harmful chemicals of common commercial products. Learn more about how to make your home sparkle without harming your family and pets.

Bring a healthy Vegan dish to share along with a note card listing your ingredients and your name. Vegan means no animal ingredients (zero honey, dairy, butter, fish, poultry, or meat). Healthy requests little sugar or white flour. If you do not know what to bring, fresh fruits (as grapes) are always a delight. Also, please bring your place setting (plate, cup, and utensils).

A donation of $7 per adult is requested. Children are free.

The Carniglia Senior Center, 41 Oak Street, Windsor Locks, CT, is the location for this event. Free parking is available in a large lot across from the Center.
