On August 28, Sunday, at 11 AM,
Northern Connecticut Vegetarian Society and Hopes Cancer
Support Group will have a picnic and beach day at
Sunrise Park, 2075 Mountain
Road (Route 168), West Suffield, Connecticut. Enjoy the
picnic, hiking, and swimming.
Link to map directions for this location.
Bring
your musical instruments as a music jam would be great.
Please arrive early so we can set up and eat at Noon. For the picnic, bring a healthy vegan
dish or juice to share along with a note card listing
your ingredients.
Summer fresh raw foods would be a delight. Vegan
denotes no animal ingredients (zero dairy, butter, eggs,
fish, meat, chicken, cheese, and ham). Also, please
bring your place setting (plate, cup, and utensils).
Dogs on leashes and children are welcome. Dogs have
their own swimming area!

As the Pavilion has been
reserved for our group, we will be dry and comfortable
even if it rains.
A donation would be appreciated to
continue our programs.
